I want to review a book called „Lisa in New York”. This is story about a girl called Lisa who won a first prize – a ticket to New York City. She was so excited about it and decided to visit not only the city but also her cousin, aunt and uncle. When Lisa arrived in New York her cousin George was waiting for her. He decided to show Lisa his great city so her exciting and mysterious adventure began. Every day she and her cousin visited the most famous places and buildings in „The Big Apple”. On the first day they rented bicycles and rode around Central Park. Next day they took a ferry boat to the Statue of Liberty and afterwards went to the Metropolitan Museum of Arts. In the Met Lisa and Georg found two tickets to the Empire State Buildings witch they visited the following day. Lisa`s next attraction was the Brodway theatre and ice skating at the Rockefaller Center. She also saw basketball match in famous Madison Square Garden. I think Lisa`s trip to New York is really important to everybody who wants to visit this city. She is a great tour guide telling us about the most popular places in the Big Apple. Lisa also shows us some local food, for example New York hot dogs. The book also mentions the New York Subway system and one of the most crowded places in the Big Apple Chinatown where you can eat delicious food. 

A reader can lern a lot of detailed informations about the Statue of Liberty and the Empire Building too. I would recomend this book to all teenagers who dream about visiting New York – a city that never sleeps.
